Jacqueline Winspear's series about a WWI nurse who takes over her mentor's business as an "investigator and psychologist". Except for flashbacks, they're set post-war. They get close enough to Dorothy Sayers' period to be interesting, which means they're also coming up on Nero Wolfe time.
